In the Winter and Spring of 2015 I worked as Gregory Alan Isakov’s on the Road Photographer and Merch Manager. The tour covered all the lovely spots the East Coast could offer. NYC, Philly, Providence, The Egg in Ithaka, Boston, Portland, ME and on and on we sailed. Once we rounded the corner of the tour in Brooklyn, Nathaniel Rateliff hopped on the bus to open up the rest of the tour filling Jolie Hollands shoes as we wrapped up the midwest run of shows.
The first photo shows Gregory backing Nathaniel up on his opening set, the second is of the crew waiting in the wings to begin Gregory’s set.
